## Physician - Emergency / Urgent Care

Join our team as a dedicated Physician, providing essential medical care to patients. We are looking for highly qualified professionals committed to excellence in service.

  • *Key Responsibilities (Implied):**
  • Provide comprehensive medical diagnosis and treatment for various conditions.
  • Manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • *Minimum Requirements:**
  • **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship (non-citizens may be considered under specific VA policy).
  • **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved school.
  • **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • **Residency:** Completion of an accredited residency training program (ACGME/AOA approved or equivalent) leading to eligibility for board certification.
  • **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • *Additional Requirement:**
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine.
  • *Preferred Experience:**
  • Experience utilizing an electronic medical or health record (EMR/EHR) system.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in Emergency Departments and/or Urgent Care clinics within the last five years.
  • *Physical Requirements:**
This role involves physical activity, including lifting (15-44 lbs), pushing, reaching, standing, walking, and kneeling. Requires rapid mental and muscular coordination, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish colors. This is a designated drug-testing position, subject to random screening.
