Job Description
Summary
Seeking a licensed physician with a medical degree and completed residency to provide comprehensive medical care.
This position requires a highly qualified and dedicated Physician.
- *Key Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship required (exceptions may apply).
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) approved school.
- **Licensure:** Possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Residency Training:** Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty program (ACGME/AOA approved). Non-US residency training followed by a minimum of five years of verified U.S. practice may be considered if approved by the local Medical Staff Executive Committee. Board certification may be required for physicians in academic training programs.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- **Physical Abilities:** Must be physically and mentally capable of performing essential job functions, including lifting (up to 35 lbs), carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and possessing adequate vision and hearing. Accommodations will be considered.
