Physician (Regular Ft) Hematology-Oncology

• *Key Requirements:**
• **Citizenship:** US Citizenship required. Non-citizens may be considered under specific VA policy.
• **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved institution.
• **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in a US State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• **Residency:** Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited core specialty training program, leading to eligibility for board certification.
• **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Completion of a Hematology Oncology Fellowship, with a strong interest in Hematology.
• *Physical Requirements:**
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including intermittent lifting (up to 35 lbs), moderate carrying (15-35 lbs), pulling, pushing, reaching above shoulders, walking, standing, kneeling, and repeated bending.
