Qualified U.S. Citizen Physician with MD, unrestricted license, and residency sought for patient care role.
Join our medical team as a Physician! We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated medical professional to provide comprehensive patient care within our healthcare system.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide medical services and patient care in accordance with established medical standards.
- Adhere to all regulatory and policy guidelines.
- *Basic Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizenship is required. Non-citizens may be considered if qualified citizens are unavailable.
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) approved school.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Residency Training:** Completed an accredited core specialty residency training program approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. This includes programs approved by ACGME/AOA, or equivalent non-U.S. residency training followed by at least five years of verified U.S. practice, as deemed appropriate by the local Medical Staff Executive Committee.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- *Preferred Experience:**
- Board Certified and/or eligible in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
- *Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds intermittently, and moderate carrying (15-35 pounds).
- Capable of lifting over 35 pounds with assistive devices, pulling, pushing, reaching above shoulders, walking, standing, kneeling, and repeated bending intermittently.
