Physician - Primary Care Physician

This Physician position at the VA requires a highly qualified medical professional. **Key Requirements:** * **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship required; non-citizens may be considered if qualified citizens are unavailable. * **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from a VA-approved medical school. * **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia. * **Residency Training:** Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, leading to eligibility for board certification. Approved residencies include those by ACGME, AOA, or certain non-U.S. programs with 5+ years verified U.S. practice. * **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. * At least 5 years of outpatient primary care practice experience. **Special Consideration for Residents:** * Residents currently enrolled in ACGME/AOA accredited programs may be eligible for "Physician Resident Provider" (PRP) roles.
