• *Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive patient care as a licensed medical professional.
• Perform all activities of the position without restriction.
• *Basic Requirements:**
• **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship required.
• **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved institution.
• **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• **Residency Training:** Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty program (ACGME or AOA approved) leading to board certification eligibility. Non-US residency training programs require a minimum of five years of verified practice in the U.S. and approval by the local Medical Staff Executive Committee.
• **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• One year of VA Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) Primary Care Provider (PCP) experience.
• Residency within the VISN 1 area (Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont) or willingness to relocate.
• *Physical Requirements:**
• Ability to perform all physical activities of the position without restriction, including standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, turning, and ascending/descending stairs.
