Summary
VA Physician needed in VISN 1, requiring MD/DO, unrestricted license, and accredited residency.
Join the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as a Physician in the VISN 1 area.
- *Key Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship (non-citizens may be considered per VA policy).
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved school.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Residency:** Completion of accredited residency training (ACGME/AOA approved) leading to board certification eligibility. Equivalent non-US residency with five years of verified U.S. practice may be considered.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- **Relocation:** Willingness to relocate to the VISN 1 area (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or Connecticut).
- **Physical/Mental:** Ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the role, including prolonged standing/sitting, critical thinking, communication, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with the provision and oversight of telemental health services.
- Prior leadership and/or supervisory experience.
