Job Description
Summary
Deliver comprehensive medical care to Veterans, requiring US citizenship, MD/DO, unrestricted license, and accredited residency training.
Join our team to provide exceptional medical care to Veterans. We seek a dedicated Physician to deliver comprehensive patient services, adapt to diverse clinical settings, and potentially leverage telehealth technologies.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct medical care to Veteran patients.
- Utilize telehealth modalities for patient care delivery.
- Travel occasionally to other VA Medical Centers, Community-Based Outpatient Clinics, or other sites as needed to serve Veterans.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship required.
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved school.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or District of Columbia.
- **Residency:** Completion of an accredited residency training program (ACGME or AOA approved) leading to board certification eligibility.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience delivering patient care using telehealth modalities.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Geriatric Psychiatry.
- *Work Environment:**
- Primarily sedentary work, with occasional standing.
- Requires occasional travel to various clinical sites.
