Job Description

Summary

Seeking a licensed U.S. Citizen Physician with an MD/DO degree and accredited residency for comprehensive patient care.

We are seeking a qualified Physician to join our team. Successful candidates must meet the following core requirements:

  • **Citizenship:** U.S. Citizenship required; non-citizens may be considered if qualified citizens are unavailable per VA Policy.
  • **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved institution for the year of completion.
  • **Licensure:** A current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • **Residency Training:** Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, from an accredited core specialty program (ACGME or AOA approved). Non-U.S. residency training may be considered with a minimum of five years of verified U.S. practice and local Medical Staff Executive Committee approval.
  • **Language:** Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • **Physical Requirements:** Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination.
