We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet the following qualifications:
- *Basic Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship required (non-citizens may be considered if qualified citizens are unavailable per VA policy).
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree (do) from a VA-approved medical school.
- **Licensure:** Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- *Residency Training:**
- Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty program leading to eligibility for board certification.
- Approved residencies include ACGME/AOA accredited programs or deemed equivalent non-U.S. residency training followed by at least five years of verified U.S. practice.
- *Note:* Residents currently enrolled in ACGME/AOA accredited programs with full licenses may be considered as Physician Resident Providers (PRPs) for intermittent/fee-basis roles under supervision.
- *Physical & Environmental Requirements:**
- Ability to perform light carrying (under 15 lbs), reach above shoulder, use fingers, walk/stand (up to 4 hours), and distinguish basic colors/shades.
- This position primarily involves working alone.
