Job Description

Summary

Seeking a licensed Physician for VA medical services, requiring a medical degree, accredited residency, and preferably psychiatry expertise.

This Physician role provides medical services within the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are seeking highly qualified candidates who are committed to patient care.

  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a VA-approved medical school.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
  • Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. This includes programs accredited by ACGME, AOA, or approved non-US residency programs with a minimum of five years of verified U.S. practice.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Must be physically and mentally capable of efficiently performing the duties of the position.
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Prior experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 5 years of graduation).
  • Experience using Tele-Mental Health equipment.
