Summary
Board Certified Physician sought, requiring MD/DO, unrestricted license, and completed residency.
We are seeking a highly qualified and Board Certified Physician to provide essential medical services. This role demands a dedicated professional with comprehensive training and a commitment to patient care.
- *Key Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship is required (non-citizens may be considered only if qualified citizens are unavailable per VA policy).
- **Education:** Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (do) degree from a medical school approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- **Licensure:** Hold a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
- **Residency Training:** Must have completed residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty program (ACGME/AOA approved, or equivalent non-U.S. residency with 5+ years verified U.S. practice).
- **Board Certification:** Board certification is a mandatory requirement for this position.
- **Language:** Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written English.
- *Preferred Experience:**
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in Occupational Health and/or Environmental Medicine practice.
- Prior experience in leadership and administration roles.
- *Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to perform duties that may involve walking, standing, sitting, bending, and carrying light items.
