Summary
Seeking a licensed Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic floor evaluations, treatment, and education for patient care.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist specializing in pelvic floor therapy. This role involves comprehensive patient evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating patients and staff on pelvic floor health and rehabilitation.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough pelvic floor physical therapy patient evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized pelvic floor physical therapy treatment plans.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and staff on pelvic floor health.
- *Requirements:**
- **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- **Education:** Graduate (or higher) degree in Physical Therapy from a CAAHEP-approved or professionally accredited program, including completed clinical requirements.
- **Licensure:** Possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license/registration from a U.S. State, DC, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
- **Examination:** Must have passed the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) administered by the FSBPT.
- **Specialized Experience:** A minimum of one year of experience conducting pelvic floor physical therapy patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing patient/staff education.
- **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for the specialized experience requirement.
- **Federal Employee Exemption:** Current federal employees in the 0633 occupational series, continuously employed since September 27, 2017, or earlier, are exempt from the basic education and licensure requirements.
