Job Description
Summary
Analyze and resolve security problems, manage projects, and provide physical security recommendations for DoD agencies.
This role involves applying security principles to solve complex problems, manage projects, and provide physical security recommendations.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply security concepts, principles, and practices to analyze and resolve complex security problems.
- Perform market research, prepare Statements of Work, and Independent Government Cost Estimates.
- Provide timely project updates.
- Conduct surveys and inspections to assess and recommend physical security solutions, addressing the unique needs of various DoD agencies.
- *Qualifications (GS-11 Level):**
- **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09, demonstrating ability in security problem resolution, project management (market research, SOWs, cost estimates), and physical security recommendations.
- **Education:** Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, OR LL.M. (if related).
- **Combination:** A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify.
