Job Description
Summary
Seeking a Physical Security Specialist to manage estimates, SOWs, and regulatory compliance; DoD certification required.
This is a Mission Critical position requiring on-site reporting during adverse weather or emergency situations. The selected candidate will be responsible for applying expertise in physical security programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Independent Government Estimates (IGE), Contractor cost estimates, request for proposals, and technical design/survey packages.
- Develop and interpret Statements of Work (SOW) within a construction security environment.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, directives, and publications related to physical security programs, standards, and equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level (or private sector equivalent) in the responsibilities listed above.
- Must obtain Security Fundamentals DoD Certification within two years of entering on duty.
- Demonstrated experience includes both paid and unpaid work (e.g., volunteer work).
