## Paralegal Specialist (GS-9/11)

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal Specialist to perform vital legal and policy research, analysis, and writing. This role offers progression from a GS-9 to a GS-11 level, depending on qualifications and experience.

### Responsibilities:

• **GS-9 Level:** Conduct comprehensive research and review of legal, policy, or scholarly documents and publications.
• **GS-11 Level (Advanced):** Perform complex legal research and writing, including analysis of legislative history, judicial decisions, legal precedents, and advanced policy documents.

### Qualifications:

#### For GS-9:

• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 federal service level, involving legal, policy, or scholarly research and document review.

**or**

• **Education:** A Master's or equivalent graduate degree, two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, an LL.B., or a J.D. (related field required).

#### For GS-11:

• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 federal service level, performing advanced legal or policy research and writing.

**or**

• **Education:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or an LL.M. (related field required).
