Opentext Content Server Developer

Are you an experienced OpenText Content Server Developer with a passion for keeping critical enterprise systems running smoothly? Join our team as a Software Sustainment Engineer to maintain, enhance, and modernize OpenText solutions for our clients.

• *About the Role:**

As a pivotal member of our team, you will ensure the functional life of applications by troubleshooting issues, fixing bugs, and upgrading systems. You'll have an immediate operational impact, working with a team to maintain applications and keep systems secure and efficient.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Continuously enhance and maintain applications using programming and scripting languages.
• Troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
• Upgrade systems to meet security and compliance requirements.
• Advise clients on best practices for system improvement and modernization.
• Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions within OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM platforms.
• Configure customized Content Server modules, workflows, metadata, and permissions.
• Create and maintain scripts, APIs, and web services for system automation.
• Address design and code review findings and develop detailed program specifications.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• 6+ years of experience with OpenText Content Server workflows and repositories.
• Expertise in OScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and OpenText Web Services.
• Experience integrating OpenText with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Platform).
• Bachelor's degree or 15+ years of relevant software development experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• *Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience creating and testing modules for compliance to design specifications.
• Familiarity with microservices or distributed application environments.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, C#, C/C++, .NET, React, Angular, or NodeJS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• OpenText Content Server Certification.
