Seeking a Licensed Inpatient OB/GYN Nurse with professional experience in maternal, gynecological, and critical equipment care.

## Inpatient Clinical / OB-GYN Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inpatient Clinical / OB-GYN Nurse to provide specialized care for obstetrical and gynecological patients.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Deliver comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and postoperative nursing care to obstetrical and gynecological patients.
  • Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment, including resuscitators, cardiac monitors, EKG units, oxygen analyzers, ventilators, and electronic fetal monitoring devices.
  • Administer medications via various routes (e.g., oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, intravenous, topical).
  • Assess patient conditions, recognize adverse signs and symptoms, and provide timely emergency treatment and appropriate care.
  • *Required Qualifications:**
  • **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • **Education:** Graduate or higher degree, Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma from an accredited professional nursing program. Transcripts are required.
  • **Licensure:** Current, active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
  • **Foreign Graduates:** Completion of the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) Certification Program is required. A copy of the CGFNS Certificate must be provided.
  • **Professional Nursing Experience:** Minimum of one full year of professional nursing experience which includes:
* Providing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and postoperative nursing care for obstetrical and gynecological patients. * Setting up and operating specialized medical equipment (e.g., resuscitators, cardiac monitors, EKG units, fetal monitors). * Administering medications (orally, intramuscularly, subcutaneously, intravenously, topically, etc.). * Responding to adverse patient signs and symptoms to administer appropriate care and emergency treatment.
  • **Note:** Education cannot be substituted for the required professional nursing experience for this position.
  • **Federal Employee Exemption:** Current federal employees in the 0610 occupational series, continuously employed since September 27, 2017, or before, may be exempt from the basic education and licensure requirements (appropriate documentation will be required).
