## Emergency Department Nurse

### Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Assist medical staff with various procedures.
• Administer medications safely and effectively.

### Qualifications:

• **Citizenship:** Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• **Education:**

* Graduate or higher-level degree, bachelor's, associate, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing program. (Transcripts required) * *For Foreign Graduates:* Must have completed the CGFNS Certification Program, including credential evaluation, qualifying exam, and approved English language proficiency. (CGFNS Certificate required)

• **Licensure:** Current, active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from a U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory. Must have passed the NCLEX.
• **Experience:**

* A minimum of one full year of professional nursing experience. * Experience must include providing nursing care to emergency department patients, assisting with procedures, and administering medications. * *Note:* This position requires specific professional nursing experience; education cannot be substituted for experience.

• **Federal Employee Exemption:** Current federal employees in the 0610 occupational series continuously employed since September 27, 2017, or before, are exempt from basic education/licensure requirements.
