Summary
Seeking a Clinical Nurse for patient and surgical care, requiring an accredited nursing degree, active license, and relevant experience.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within a federal healthcare setting.

- *Qualifications:**
- *1. Basic Requirements for Nurse (Clinical):**
- **Education:** A graduate, bachelor's, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program. Accreditation must be from CCNE, COA-NAEP, ACME, or a U.S. Department of Education recognized body. (Official transcripts required).
- **Licensure:** A current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory. Must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
- **Foreign Degrees:** If your degree is from a foreign nursing school, official certification from the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) is required.

Additional Qualification Requirements:**
- **Option 1 (Experience-based):** A diploma, associate degree, or bachelor's degree in Nursing from a professional program, and at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to GS-9 grade level or above). This experience must include providing comprehensive nursing care, utilizing electronic health systems, and coordinating surgical care.
- **Option 2 (Education-based):** A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or a related medical science field.
- *Exemptions for Current Federal Employees:**
If you are a current federal employee in the 0610 occupational series continuously since September 27, 2017, or before, you may be exempt from some basic and additional qualification requirements. Specific alternative criteria apply, and appropriate documentation will be required to validate your status. These include:
- **Basic Exemption:** A degree or diploma from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time of completion, and active, current professional nurse registration in a U.S. State, DC, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
- **Additional Qualification Exemption:** Completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) from a professional nursing program or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education from a professional nursing program.
