Nurse (Clinical)

## Professional Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Professional Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care and deliver essential education on medical procedures and policies.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients.
• Educate patients and/or staff on medical procedures and policies, including topics like GLP-1 medications and Bariatric procedures.
• *Essential Qualifications:**
• **Citizenship:** Must be a US Citizen.
• **Education:** A graduate, bachelor's, associate, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing program is required. (Transcripts are required. Foreign degrees need official certification from CGFNS).
• **Licensure:** A current, active, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from a US State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a US territory. Must have successfully passed the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX).
• **Experience/Advanced Degree:**

* **Option 1:** A diploma, associate, or bachelor's degree in Nursing PLUS at least one full year of professional nursing experience (equivalent to GS-9 grade level or above) that includes comprehensive patient care and patient/staff education on medical procedures/policies. * **Option 2:** A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree from a professional nursing educational program or a related medical science field.

• *Preferred Qualification:**
• Experience with Bariatric patients.
• *Federal Employee Exemption:**
• Current federal employees in the 0610 occupational series continuously employed since September 27, 2017, or before, may be exempt from certain basic and qualification requirements. Appropriate documentation will be required to validate status.
