Nuclear Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Nuclear Engineer to provide expert guidance and develop critical solutions within nuclear and radiologic systems. This role involves advising senior management and multidisciplinary teams on complex nuclear engineering issues, ensuring rigorous adherence to safety regulations in nuclear facilities, and identifying and resolving critical vulnerabilities.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Advise senior management, stakeholders, or multi-functional teams on nuclear engineering issues.
• Ensure safety regulations are strictly followed in nuclear facilities.
• Provide solutions to critical vulnerabilities in nuclear and radiologic systems.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Specialized Experience:** At least one year of experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in Federal service, directly demonstrating expertise in the key responsibilities listed above. (No education substitution for this specialized experience).
• **Basic Engineering Qualification:** A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or professional experience that provides a thorough understanding of engineering sciences. This may include professional registration (PE, EI/EIT), successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, or specific advanced academic coursework. Related scientific degrees (e.g., engineering technology, physics) may be accepted with at least one year of professional engineering experience under supervision.
