Job Description

Summary

Administer, analyze, and optimize operational programs, focusing on travel, procurement, and policy development for efficient service delivery.

We are seeking skilled Administrative Program Specialists to manage and enhance operational efficiency and compliance within administrative programs.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Coordinate or manage administrative functions, including travel, procurement, and timekeeping, ensuring compliance with evolving policies.
  • Analyze operational data and workflows to identify inefficiencies, apply performance metrics, and recommend or implement improvements for service delivery.
  • Develop and update internal policies and procedures for travel, transit, and transportation programs to align with regulatory standards and improve process consistency.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • *For GS-9 Level:**
  • **Experience:** At least one year of full-time specialized experience comparable to the GS-7 level. This includes coordinating administrative functions, analyzing operational data for improvements, and developing internal procedures for travel/transportation programs.
  • **Education Substitution:** A Master's or equivalent graduate degree, 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or an LL.B./J.D. (if related) may substitute for experience.
  • *For GS-11 Level:**
  • **Experience:** At least one year of full-time specialized experience comparable to the GS-9 level. This includes managing administrative programs, applying workflow analysis and performance metrics to resolve inefficiencies, and developing/updating policies for travel/transportation systems.
  • **Education Substitution:** A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or an LL.M. (if related) may substitute for experience.
  • *Preferred Qualification (Quality Ranking Factor):**
  • Contracting Officer's Representative Level I (COR) certification or higher is desirable and may enhance your application.
