Summary
Develop and transition advanced meteorological forecast tools and applications into operational environments.
Join our team as a Meteorologist, contributing to the advancement and operational implementation of critical weather forecasting technologies. We are seeking a skilled professional to develop and transition state-of-the-art meteorological tools.
- *Key Responsibilities (GS-13 Level):**
- Assist in the development or modification of meteorological applications, programs, and software.
- Support the seamless transition of new meteorological forecast tools and methods into operational environments.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- *Education:**
- **Degree:** A degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related natural science major that included:
- **or** a combination of equivalent education and appropriate experience.
- *Specialized Experience:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service (or comparable non-federal experience).
- This specialized experience MUST include all of the following:
