## Student Marketing & Communications Assistant, AU Career Center

Join the American University Career Center team to enhance marketing and communication efforts, promoting events, services, and student success stories. This part-time role provides valuable experience in a professional environment, contributing directly to the university community.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote AU Career Center events, fairs, and resources.
  • Create and manage engaging content for social media channels, including Instagram, Handshake, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Design compelling digital and print marketing materials.
  • Conduct content research and assist with special promotional initiatives.
  • Utilize social media analytics and GA4 for campaign planning, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • *Requirements:**
  • Must be a currently enrolled American University student with an active Federal Work-Study (FWS) award.
  • Demonstrated design experience, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred, or a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creativity and storytelling ability.
  • Strong collaboration, critical thinking, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to commit 4-5 hours per week, specifically for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026, with potential for renewal.
  • *Compensation:**
  • $17.95 per hour.
