## Marriage and Family Therapist (Program Manager), GS-13
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist to lead and manage comprehensive MFT programs. This pivotal role involves program oversight, staff development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality services within the VA healthcare system.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage MFT program operations, adapting to evolving needs, staffing, and budget requirements.
- Evaluate staff performance and facilitate the professional development of MFTs across various programs and locations.
- Collaborate effectively with leaders of other disciplines within facilities, the community, and VA networks.
- Analyze organizational and operational problems, developing and implementing solutions to ensure sound program functioning.
- Provide clinical supervision for marital and family therapy services to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- *Education & Licensure:**
- **Education:** Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from a COAMFTE-approved or regionally accredited program, or a comparable mental health degree (e.g., Social Work, Psychology) meeting VA qualification standards.
- **Licensure:** Hold a full, current, and unrestricted MFT license to independently practice in a State.
- **Citizenship:** United States Citizenship.
- **Language:** Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- *Experience & Specialized Requirements for GS-13:**
- Minimum of one year of progressively complex experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level.
- Five years of post-licensed clinical experience in family systems theory/therapy.
- Graduation from a COAMFTE-approved program or successful completion of the AMFTRB examination.
- Possession of an AAMFT Approved Supervisor credential.
- Demonstrated advanced practice skills, sound judgment, and progressive professional competency and expertise.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and analyze operational programs effectively.
