Summary
Lead content strategy, SEO, and inbound marketing for U.S. Card, driving customer engagement through data-driven digital campaigns.
Capital One is seeking a strategic, data-driven Marketing Principal Associate to join our U.S. Card Performance Marketing team. This hybrid role focuses on developing and executing impactful content strategies that attract and engage card prospects and customers across their journey.

- *What You'll Do:**
- Lead the development and execution of strategic inbound marketing initiatives across SEO, social, and email.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to select and publish relevant, audience-focused content driving business outcomes.
- Champion the customer voice, ensuring content addresses specific needs and aligns with business objectives.
- Design and implement content testing strategies to optimize creative, distribution, and engagement for maximum impact.
- Leverage insights to inform and shape outbound content recommendations.
- Act as the primary liaison for cross-functional collaboration with business analysts, marketing, creative, risk, and legal teams.

- Strong familiarity with SEO best practices and full-funnel digital marketing tactics.
- Customer-focused, leveraging audience and market research to inform content decisions.
- Ability to adapt thinking across the full customer journey (awareness to conversion).
- Skilled in using data to tell compelling stories, uncover insights, and identify new opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, able to tailor messages for diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and manage agency partnerships.
- Experience managing project details, deadlines, and shifting priorities with accountability.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience.
- At least 3 years of experience executing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, including Content Marketing and SEO.
- At least 3 years of experience leading digital marketing strategies and programs from concept to execution.
- At least 3 years of experience working with creative partners or agencies.
- At least 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications.
- At least 3 years of marketing experience in financial services or a highly regulated industry.
- At least 3 years of experience with marketing analytics and optimization.
- At least 3 years leveraging audience insights and data for user profiles, segmentation, and content strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity.
