Summary
GEICO seeks a Marketing Analyst III to drive data-driven insights, measure marketing performance, and develop solutions for brand advertising.
GEICO's Marketing Analytics team is seeking an experienced Marketing Analyst III to drive data-driven insights and innovative measurement solutions for the GEICO brand. This role is crucial in informing advertising decisions, analyzing marketing program performance, and leveraging predictive analytics to create business value.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Analyze marketing campaign performance across multiple channels (e.g., television, search, social, email, direct mail, display/video).
- Study user behaviors and integrate diverse data sources for comprehensive measurement and attribution.
- Manage and enhance processes for identity resolution, tagging, and tracking parameters.
- Transform large, complex datasets into actionable insights for marketing leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Data Science teams on initiatives such as customer retention measurement and business intelligence tool development.
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly through management briefs and presentations.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science).
- 3-4 years of experience with marketing analytics tools and data sources.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI strongly preferred).
- Applied statistics skills, including distributions, statistical testing, and regression.
- Familiarity with web/app measurement tools (Google Analytics strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (BigQuery and Snowflake preferred).
- Strong understanding of marketing KPIs, tagging, and the current MarTech landscape.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Advanced marketing analytics experience at a brand or agency.
- Proficiency in open-source statistical programming (Python/R) for analysis and data visualization.
- Experience with the development and usage of in-house attribution and media mix models.
- Experience with data pipeline tools for automating marketing data ingestion from various platforms.
- Experience working in data clean rooms (e.g., LiveRamp Safe Haven).
- *Location:**
- Hybrid: Requires 3 days/week from a GEICO office.
- Preferred Locations: Chevy Chase, MD (Plaza Corporate HQ) or New York City, NY.
- *Annual Salary Range:**
- $77,900.00 - $129,150.00. Salary is determined by various factors including experience, education, training, and work location.
