### Key Responsibilities:

• Lead internal and external communications, public relations, and thought leadership for scientific innovation, including AI/ML, data science, and broader science initiatives.
• Partner with data science, research, and AI/ML teams to develop unified messaging and internal communication strategies for talent and community programs.
• Enhance Capital One's external positioning in AI, data, and scientific disciplines, elevating our role as a technology leader and destination for top talent.
• Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of communication strategies.
• Contribute to team efforts in developing processes and operational excellence.
• Stay informed on industry trends to continually enhance communication strategies.

### Qualifications:

• *Basic:**
• Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of communications experience related to the sciences, technology, or innovation.
• *Preferred:**
• 6+ years of public relations or communications experience in financial services, technology, and/or other science-related industries.

### Salary Range (Annual Full-Time):

• Richmond, VA: $115,200 - $131,500
• New York, NY: $138,300 - $157,800
• McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600
