Job Description
Summary
Provide executive administrative support, managing correspondence, policy review, and data analysis for program improvement.
Join our team as an Administrative Professional, providing critical executive-level support and program assistance. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage complex administrative tasks.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Review and edit executive-level correspondence (letters, decisions, reports) for grammar, spelling, and syntax.
- Compose various communications, including emails, memorandums, and reports, for executive leadership.
- Provide guidance to management on administrative policies and procedures, such as time, attendance, pay, leave, and benefits.
- Collaborate with experts to edit and review policies for clinical health units.
- Gather and analyze administrative program data (budgeting, personnel training, timekeeping) to identify issues and propose solutions.
- *Qualifications:**
- **Specialized Experience:** One year of experience equivalent to the GS-9 level, demonstrating proficiency in at least three of the key responsibilities listed above.
- **Education (Substitute):** A Ph.D., equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (or LL.M.) in a field directly related to the position.
- **Combination:** A mix of specialized experience and graduate-level education (beyond the first two years) that demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills.
- **Federal Employees:** Current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the GS-9 level to qualify for GS-11.
