Summary

Lead national nuclear/radiological incident response, coordinate inter-agency efforts, and manage strategic partnerships for public safety.

Join our team to lead and coordinate national emergency response efforts for nuclear and radiological incidents. This critical role involves strategic planning, inter-agency collaboration, and stakeholder relationship management to ensure public safety and national security.

  • *Responsibilities:**
  • Develop and implement response plans for nuclear and radiological incidents, leveraging knowledge of Federal, State, Tribal, and local agency operations.
  • Manage strategic relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Foster team cohesion and navigate complex organizational dynamics in a high-paced environment.
  • Lead the development and improvement of emergency response organizations.
  • Coordinate national security and public health emergency response missions with Federal and State governments.
  • Provide clear and concise communication on complex organizational and national security issues.
  • *Qualifications:**
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 federal service level in emergency response, national security, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated competencies in Leadership, Team Building, and Technical Competence.
  • Proven experience managing complex inter-agency coordination and strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Relevant paid, unpaid, and volunteer experience will be considered.*
