Logistics Management Specialist (Title 32)

This position seeks a dedicated logistics professional to join the District of Columbia Air National Guard, focusing on comprehensive planning and coordination of vital support operations.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Plan and coordinate comprehensive logistical support, including managing money, manpower, material, facilities, and services.
• Identify and integrate diverse logistical support activities to develop thorough plans.
• Monitor essential functions like program planning, resource/fiscal management, training, and manpower to ensure logistics plan adherence.
• Proactively identify operational delays or problems and develop effective corrective actions.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Experience:**

* **General:** Experience performing or supervising staff work in planning and coordinating logistical support activities. * **Specialized (1 year equivalent to next lower grade):** Demonstrated experience identifying/integrating logistical operations, developing comprehensive logistics plans, monitoring key functions (program, fiscal, training, manpower, data processing) for logistics, and identifying/resolving operational issues.

• **Military Requirement:**

* **Mandatory membership in the District of Columbia Air National Guard.** (Applicants not currently members must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the specified military grade). * Ability to wear the military uniform is required. * Willingness to accept an administrative reduction in military grade if current rank exceeds the advertised maximum.
