Summary
Manage FA-18 aircraft logistics, product support, and obsolescence strategies for system life cycle sustainment.
We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Specialist to manage comprehensive product support for FA-18CDEF and EA-18G aircraft programs.
- *Key Responsibilities & Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum one year of specialized, senior-level experience (equivalent to federal GS-12/13) in logistics or product support.
- **Technical Specification Review:** Analyze equipment technical performance, reliability, and maintainability data to determine Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements.
- **Support Concept Development:** Develop and implement robust product support and maintenance strategies for FA-18CDEF/EA-18G to achieve program objectives.
- **Logistics Planning & Execution:** Lead and execute logistics efforts, ensuring total system life cycle requirements are met.
- **Performance Assessment:** Conduct performance-based assessments for aircraft engine operation and modification processes.
- **Obsolescence Management:** Develop strategies for systems/sub-systems life cycle support, addressing obsolescence, diminishing manufacturing sources, and material shortages.
