Logistics Management Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Specialist to independently direct and manage comprehensive, cradle-to-grave logistics operations for critical systems and programs.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Independently direct, develop, implement, and coordinate total logistics management.
• Oversee cradle-to-grave logistics operations in support of assigned systems, programs, or major equipment.
• Function as a key part of a logistics management team.

Required Qualifications:

• **Experience:** Minimum one year (52 weeks) of specialized logistics management experience (equivalent to GS-11 or NH-02 level). This experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date.
• **Knowledge:**

* Acquisition and logistics management policies, regulations, and laws. * Qualitative and quantitative assessment methods. * DoD, Air Force, and organizational logistics program structures and operations.

• **Skills & Abilities:**

* Staff-level planning, organizing, and overseeing critical aspects of system/equipment development, production, and support. * Ability to integrate, analyze, and manage diverse logistics functions (research, development, production, support). * Excellent oral and written communication skills with technical accuracy.
