Summary
Advise management on congressional affairs, present complex programs to Congress, and conduct government agency research.
The Legislative Affairs Specialist advises management on congressional affairs, crafts and delivers presentations to US Congress members regarding complex programs, and conducts in-depth research and analysis on government agency issues. Candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in legislative or congressional affairs, which includes the outlined responsibilities. Both paid and qualifying volunteer experience are considered.
