Summary

Support financial litigation and debt collection through expert case management, legal document preparation, and strategic asset location.

Seeking a qualified professional to support financial litigation and debt collection activities. This role demands expertise in legal processes, efficient case management, and effective public communication.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of debt collection processes (federal or other) and litigation procedures, including local court rules.
  • Prepare and manage various legal documents.
  • Efficiently handle a high volume of casework.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, attorneys, and government agencies.
  • Develop and implement strategies for locating assets.
  • Utilize various computer software, including collections-specific systems, email, word processing, database management, and internet browsers.
  • *Required Qualifications (GS-11 Level):**
  • *Experience:**
  • One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-09 level) directly related to financial litigation support and debt collection.
  • *Education (one of the following):**
  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or
  • Three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (e.g., related to law); or
  • An LL.M. degree (if related to the position).
  • *Combination:**
  • A mix of specialized experience and graduate education (exceeding two full years) that collectively meets all stated requirements.
