GEICO seeks a Lead UX/UI Designer to drive human-centered design, mentor teams, and collaborate on product strategy in a hybrid role.
GEICO is seeking an accomplished, customer-obsessed, and results-oriented Lead UX/UI Designer to drive high-quality, customer-centric solutions. This role involves leading design programs, mentoring other designers, and collaborating extensively with product management, engineering, and business owners.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the end-to-end product design process, framing problems, and developing insights.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to uncover customer and business needs.
- Advocate for the customer through human-centered design methods, including discovery, research, and user testing.
- Translate complex ideas into understandable concepts and solutions.
- Create process and user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user interface specifications.
- Deliver design assets for development and market in partnership with engineering.
- Facilitate and participate in workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide other designers on project teams.
- Manage shifting priorities to provide clear direction and support early product definition.
