Lead Training Instructor

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as an Instructor, providing crucial training and guidance within our programs. This role requires expertise in both instructional delivery and training program development.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide instruction on the operation, maintenance, and characteristics of assigned weapons systems.
• Offer technical and administrative guidance for training development projects, lesson plans, and overall training programs.
• Observe classroom instruction to ensure safety measures are adhered to and that teaching methods are effective, aligning with established policies and directives.
• *Qualifications:**
• **Education:** A major in education or a subject area related to the position, or demonstrated practical knowledge of the subject area and instructional methods/techniques.
• **Experience:** One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level, which includes:

* Teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military, or industrial setting. * Supervising or administering a training program. * Developing or reviewing training/course materials, aids, and devices, and evaluating training results. * Working in a subject-matter field that required regular training or instructing others.

• **Specific Specialized Experience (GS-13 Level):** Candidates must clearly demonstrate experience in all three areas:

* Delivering instruction on weapons systems operation, maintenance, and characteristics. * Guiding training development projects, lesson plans, and programs (technical and administrative). * Monitoring classroom instruction for safety compliance and instructional effectiveness.
