## Lead Front End Software Engineer
Capital One is seeking a passionate Lead Front End Software Engineer to build innovative, cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans. - *What You'll Do:**
- Lead the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform front-end application systems.
- Perform hands-on software development on Front End Applications, leveraging test-driven development (TDD).
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Share your passion for new technologies, experiment with emerging tech, and mentor fellow engineers.
- Utilize modern programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Java, open-source frameworks, and RESTful web services.
- *Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
- *Preferred Qualifications:**
- Master's Degree.
- 7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Angular, JavaScript, React, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
- 4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
- 1+ year of people management experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.

- **Annual Salary Range (McLean, VA):** $193,400 - $220,700
