Capital One seeks a Lead Front End Engineer to build cloud solutions, innovate with modern tech, and mentor teams.

Capital One is seeking a **Lead Front End Software Engineer** to drive innovation and build robust, cloud-based solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

*What You'll Do:**
Lead front-end software development, leveraging test-driven methodologies.
Design and develop cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
Collaborate with development teams and digital product managers to deliver impactful user experiences.
Mentor engineers, share technical expertise, and stay current with emerging technologies.
Utilize modern web technologies including JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, Java, open-source frameworks, and RESTful web services for cross-browser and cross-device development.

*Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelor's Degree.
At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).

*Preferred Qualifications:**
Master's Degree.
7+ years of experience in Angular, JavaScript, React, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
4+ years of experience in open-source frameworks.
1+ year of people management experience.
2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
