Job Description
Summary
Lead aircraft weight and balance, performing inspections and system operations for federal aviation projects.
Seeking an Aircraft Weight and Balance Technician/Officer with at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 equivalent level in the federal, private, or public sector.
- *Key Responsibilities and Requirements:**
- Utilize specialized aviation systems, including AWBS, NDDS, FIST, AMR, NAVPASS, OOMA, ePOWER, iPlan, and iReport.
- Conduct comprehensive aircraft inspections, covering pre-installation integrity, weight verification, and post-installation structural/electrical integrity to industry standards.
- Apply NAMP requirements for Tool Control and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention for all personnel working on squadron aircraft.
- Serve as an Aircraft Weight and Balance Technician or Officer, supporting modification, repair, testing, and removal activities.
