Lead Police Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Lead Police Officer to join our team. This role requires individuals committed to maintaining order, protecting life, and safeguarding property.

• *Minimum Requirements:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the PQ-5 Federal grade level.
• *Specialized Experience Must Include:**
• Knowledge of basic laws, regulations, and law enforcement operations.
• Practices and techniques for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
• *Qualifying Experience May Be Gained From:**
• Work on a police force.
• Service as a military police officer.
• Visitor protection and law enforcement in parks, forests, or natural resource/recreational environments.
• Performing criminal investigative duties.
• *Key Responsibilities at This Level:**
• Patrolling assigned areas to enforce laws and ordinances.
• Regulating traffic and controlling crowds.
• Preventing crimes and arresting violators.
• *Please Note:**
• Experience as a security guard or corrections officer is generally NOT qualifying.
• All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, will be credited.
