Lead IT Specialist (Infosec)

As a Lead IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will lead advanced cloud cybersecurity operations, incident response, and defensive strategy development.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design, test, and refine defensive cyber tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for cloud environments.
• Provide expert technical input and cyber detection content to cybersecurity and external teams.
• Integrate third-party tools for cloud cyber incident response, forensics, and data analysis.
• Identify and propose process improvements, incorporating artificial intelligence and emerging regulations.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive cybersecurity training and conduct incident response exercises focused on cloud operations.
• Monitor the performance of cybersecurity systems supporting cloud incident handling, recommending solutions.
• Lead the development of in-depth cloud incident response plans, including threat hunting, virtual machine forensics, and automation using tools like SOAR or Sentinel.
• *Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level (or similar in federal, military, or private sector).
• Experience must include designing cloud defensive cyber strategies, leading incident response, and applying advanced analysis tools.
• Proficiency with cloud tools like KQL, SOAR, Sentinel, and techniques such as virtual machine forensics and snapshot analysis in multi-cloud environments.
