Summary

Seeking a Journeyman Cloud Computing Specialist/Web Application Developer for AWS cloud-native development in an agile environment.

Cherokee Nation Systems Solutions (CNSS) is seeking a Journeyman Cloud Computing Specialist/Web Application Developer to join an agile product delivery team. This role focuses on building cloud-native solutions, balancing security, financial, and mission impacts.

*Key Responsibilities:**
Develop cloud-based applications, integrating with AWS native tools (Python, Javascript, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Glue, SageMaker, Cognito, RDS, S3, CodePipeline, Fargate, DataLake).
Create and update SDLC documentation, including requirements, use cases, data flow, and testing plans.
Ingest and visualize data sets for integration into cloud solutions.
Support Product Owner with user acceptance testing.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and approved tools.
Develop APIs and application integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Perform other software development and analysis activities as needed.

*Required Skills & Experience:**
Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Web Design, Computer Science, or related field.
3-4 years of web design and development experience, preferably in a federal agency setting.
Proficiency in web development tools and technologies: WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.
Experience developing front-end user stories with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Ability to contribute to projects in an Agile development environment.
Strong visual design skills for intuitive, user-centered layouts.
Familiarity with standard web development methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
