IT Specialist (Systems Analysis)

Are you a skilled IT professional seeking to design, develop, and deploy critical systems? We are looking for an IT Specialist (Systems Analysis) to join our team, focusing on ensuring robust and interoperable IT solutions.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design and develop IT solutions that precisely meet customer business requirements.
• Analyze existing system capabilities, compatibility, and interoperability, ensuring seamless integration for new or modified software.
• Conduct and assist across all testing phases, including assembly, component, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Actively participate in release management, software transition, and deployment activities.

  Specialized Experience:**

• One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the next lower federal GS level (e.g., GS-11 experience for GS-12 consideration, GS-09 for GS-11, GS-07 for GS-09). This experience must include:

* Designing and developing IT solutions to meet business requirements. * Analyzing system capabilities, compatibility, and interoperability. * Performing or assisting with all test phases (assembly, component, system, regression, user acceptance). * Participating in release management, software transition, and deployment.

• *2. Education Substitution (in lieu of specialized experience):**
• **For GS-09:** A Master's degree or two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education.
• **For GS-11:** A Ph.D. or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education (or LL.M., if related).
• *Relevant Fields:* Degrees in computer science, engineering, information science/systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, or a related degree with a minimum of 24 semester hours in these fields, emphasizing application, system, or network development.

• A combination of qualifying specialized experience and progressively higher-level graduate education may be used to meet the requirements for GS-09 and GS-11 levels.
