IT Specialist (Sysanalysis)

IT Specialist (System Analysis) is sought to apply expertise in system analysis, design, and software development. This role focuses on ensuring application integrity and availability, evaluating solutions, and delivering system modifications or new designs based on user requirements.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Apply principles of system/software design, development, testing, implementation, and risk management to maintain application integrity and availability.
• Assist in evaluating, selecting, and integrating Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and/or Government-Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) solutions.
• Provide IT solutions by modifying existing and/or building new software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate requirements for new system designs or major Automated Information System (AIS) modifications.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level (or equivalent in Federal, military, or private sector).
• Creditable experience includes applying principles in system/software design, development, testing, implementation, and risk management, along with COTS/GOTS evaluation and integration, and software system modification/development.
• Must meet all eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade (for GS positions).
• Volunteer experience that builds relevant competencies is fully credited.
