Job Description
Summary
IT Specialist sought to manage compliance programs, develop policies, and integrate assistive technologies to ensure agency accessibility.
The IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC) will ensure agency compliance with government regulations and advance accessibility initiatives through technology.
- *Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and programs to ensure agency adherence to government laws and regulations.
- Manage compliance initiatives across key project management areas, including planning, scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
- Demonstrate and explain how assistive technologies support individuals with various disabilities (e.g., vision, hearing, speech, mobility, cognitive).
- *Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, military, or private sector.
- Proven experience establishing compliance programs, managing regulatory initiatives, and applying assistive technology knowledge.
- Must meet all eligibility requirements by the application closing date. All qualifying experience, including volunteer work, is credited.
