Job Description
Summary
Manage IT systems, security, and projects as a SysAdmin/InfoSec Specialist, troubleshooting and supporting development.
We are seeking an IT Specialist (SysAdmin/InfoSec) at the GS-13 level to manage, secure, and develop critical IT systems. This role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and project leadership.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Define technical requirements and contribute to the development of new systems, processes, and applications.
- Conduct advanced research and troubleshooting for complex issues in areas like application development, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) systems.
- Manage user accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment.
- Lead project initiatives, including planning, coordinating support, data collection, methodology development, problem-solving, and reporting.
- *Required Qualifications:**
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level (Federal, military, or private sector).
- Experience must demonstrate competencies in:
- Meet all eligibility requirements, including time-in-grade and minimum qualifications.
- *Note: Both paid and qualifying volunteer experience are credited.*
