IT Specialist (Sysadmin/Infosec)

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist with a focus on Systems Administration and Information Security. This role involves defining technical requirements, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and developing scripts for various interfaces to enhance our IT processes and systems.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Define and gather technical requirements for new and enhanced IT processes, systems, and applications.
• Perform complex research and troubleshooting for critical problem areas, including application development, Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) systems, focusing on system integration with DLA-wide impact.
• Develop and submit project plans, coordinate support, manage data collection, and define methodologies to solve IT challenges.
• Create and debug scripts and programs for Application Program Interfaces (API), mid-tier, and web-enabled interfaces, adhering to standard system requirements.
• *Required Qualifications:**
• **Experience:** One year of specialized IT experience equivalent to a GS-11 level (or similar in federal, military, or private sector) that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties of this position.
• **Competencies:** Must possess demonstrated experience in all four of the following areas:

* **Attention to Detail:** Thorough and conscientious when performing work. * **Customer Service:** Ability to assess client needs, provide information/assistance, resolve problems, and ensure quality service. * **Oral Communication:** Effectively expresses information to individuals or groups, makes clear presentations, and listens actively. * **Problem Solving:** Identifies problems, determines information accuracy/relevance, uses sound judgment, and makes effective recommendations.
