## IT Specialist (System Administration / Information Security)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to manage and provide expert support for our enterprise storage, backup, and archive infrastructure. This role involves critical system diagnostics and technical assistance, ensuring seamless data management within our agency.

### Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as an authority on SAN (Storage Area Network), Backup, and Archive systems, including related software and hardware.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of SAN/NAS/DAS storage arrays, iSCSI/fiber switches, and replication technologies.
• Manage diverse backup solutions (software, disk-to-disk appliances, tape solutions) and archive systems (software, storage arrays).
• Ensure seamless integration and access to enterprise data across all storage environments.
• Perform advanced diagnostic techniques to analyze and resolve complex system, storage, and network hardware/software issues.
• Provide expert technical assistance to internal users, OEM representatives, and third-party vendors.

• One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the federal, military, or private sector.
• Proven expertise with SAN technologies, including storage arrays, switches, and replication.
• Strong experience managing various Backup solutions (e.g., software, disk-to-disk, tape).
• Experience with Archive solutions and related software/storage arrays.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with enterprise utilities and monitoring tools.
